The Kano State Commissioner for Education, Mohammed Kiru, has threatened to cancel the third term if management of private schools don’t reduce their school fees by at least 25% before November 1, 2020.
Per a report by PUNCH, the Chief PRO of the Ministry, Aliyu Yusuf said in a statement that their decision comes on their back of the socio-economic downturn the country is faced with currently following the Coronavirus pandemic.
The statement said that if proprietors fail to adhere to the directive of the State Government, they would be left with no other to cancel the 3rd term of the 2019/2020 academic session.
