

The federal Government of Nigeria has taken a swift decision on how to tackle rapists in the country.
This decision which was agreed at the Wednesday meeting of the Federal Executive Council presided over by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) comes after the rampant recorded cases of raper in the country.

It will be recalled that some citizens of Nigeria including actress Tonto Dikeh protested on the streets of Abuja to demand justice for rape victims in the country. A 22-year old University student was reported raped and murdered at Benin State in a church. Also a 18-year-old girl identified as Barakat Bello was also raped and butchered to death in Ibadan, Oyo State.
These acts to these innocent victims have made the Federal Government to take the decision to go tough on rapists when arrested.
